SWIMMING POOL & WET AREAS RULES OF USE

Hours of Operation 7:30am to 8:30pm
Members are not permitted to use the Pool and Wet Area until they have completed an induction conducted by Saratoga Club Staff.
Persons under the age of 16 may only use the Pool and Wet Area if actively supervised by an adult Member.

Children under the age of 10 must be actively supervised by an adult Member at all times during use of the Pool and Wet Area. Children under the age of 5 must be within arm’s reach of an adult Member at all times during use of the Pool and Wet Area.

Members must not use the Pool and Wet Area (or permit anyone else to use the Pool and Wet Area) if suffering from any skin condition, illness or disease that is or may be contagious.

Members may provide Saratoga Club staff with medical clearance confirming the condition does not pose a risk to others.

Members must not use the Pool and Wet Area if they are suffering from, or have suffered in the last 12 days, diarrhoea or gastroenteritis.

Members must not use the Pool and Wet Area if bleeding or have exposed wounds.

Members must shower before entering the Pool and Wet Area.

Members must wear appropriate and clean attire at all times. Footwear must be worn at all times in the Pool and Wet Area, other than when in the water.

Bathing caps must be worn by all Members with hair longer than shoulder length to avoid an accumulation of hair in the filtration system resulting in costly maintenance.

Members must not leave rubbish or human waste in the Pool and Wet Area.

Members must not use oils, lotions, creams, soaps, detergents or other chemical substances in the Pool and Wet Area.

Infants or persons suffering from incontinence must wear diapers suitable for use in water.

Surf boards, boogie boards, inflatables (other than those used to assist in floatation and confirmed by Saratoga Club) or other similar equipment are not permitted in the Pool and Wet Area.

Running, jumping, ball playing or other noisy or hazardous activities are not permitted in the Pool or Wet Area. There is strictly NO DIVING into the Pool.

Floatation devices and toys must be used in a manner that does not impact upon other Members’ use of the Pool and Wet Area. All floatation devices and toys must be removed from the Pool and Wet Area when the Member leaves.

Use of radios or speakers is not permitted in the Pool and Wet Area without written approval by Saratoga Club.

Members (or those under their supervision) must not climb up or on to any fence, partition or roof in the Pool and Wet Area.

Furniture in the Pool and Wet Area is not to be relocated or moved without approval of Saratoga Club staff.

Members must ensure that they are dry before leaving the Pool and Wet Area.

No food, alcohol or glass may be brought into the Pool or Wet Area.

Photography and video recording of any kind by Members is not permitted in the Pool and Wet Area.

There are no lifeguards on duty in the Pool or Wet Area.

Members are responsible for their own safety and the safety of those under their supervision at all times in the Pool or Wet Area.

Please remember to vacate the pool area by 8.30pm. The doors from the pool area to the changing facilities lock at 8.30pm.
